National Resource Center Programs for Africa

The National Resource Centers (NRCs) for Africa are funded by the United States Department of Education. Each NRC provides a wide variety of faculty research and teaching experience in addition to library resources and language training opportunities. NRCs also offer study abroad programs in Africa on a summer, semester, or academic year basis. NRC-sponsored study abroad programs are often built from the broad networks our faculty have established with African institutions, or upon specific long-term research programs/sites. NRC-sponsored programs offer students a broad range of exciting opportunities to engage with Africa.
