Eligibility Requirements

In the Summer 2008, 20 high school students will be selected to the program. The following are the requirements for application:

1. An official high school transcript (minimum 2.5 GPA required)
2. A teacher recommendation
3. 500-word student essay on one of the following topics: Your understanding of Africa; African languages, religions and cultures; Contemporary Africa; African kingdoms throughout history
